A tooth with a crown or bridge needs care in much the same way as you would your natural teeth.  Keeping up with a good routine of brushing and flossing is something you should be doing anyway, but even more so around the area of your new crown or bridge . Be aware that the tooth under a  crown or bridge can still  be affected by decay if you’re not careful.

You should brush your teeth thoroughly at least twice a day and use floss daily. Mouthwash is also recommended to flush out any food particles that may become lodged between your teeth and the bridge. You should also visit your dentist for a good clean at least every six months.
